Michael Jantze¹s The Norm is the comic strip for the every-person -- that is, if that person is a little bit geeky, in touch with their inner child, constantly confused by the opposite sex, and willing to be a little goofy just to keep things normal! The clever dialogue and bold art style are perfectly complementary to the unique observations and imaginative adventures of the title character - Theodore Norman Miller.

If it has no God(s) or other supernatural basis, then it isn’t a religion, it is a philosophy.
Not to say that one is better.

If you have a philosophy but it is also religious then it could be called a theosophy.

What is there not to understand. Using the analog of building a house. Whether a church of just a house. The architect and engineer are like the pastors, rabbis and imams etc sacerdotal uses such humans to be the intermediaries between ‘god’ and human. Easy to understand.

I’m sure Norm knows he’s not describing the Christian church, whose members need no mediator other than God Himself—in the Person of Jesus Christ.
