I have a laptop that’s at least 10 years old with pretty much the exact same specs. If there was any doubt that these are reruns, this strip clinches it.

Well, especially since Norm married Reine a couple of years ago, and Apple hasn’t made that style of iMac in a decade.

how old is this one? Those specs are years out of date.

According to Jantze’s website, “The latest strips are now a benefit of being a member of Jantze.com.” http://www.thenorm.com/member/

Wow. I never knew these were re-runs, but it’s for certain now. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go put the 4GB memory card back into my smartphone…how technology flies.

The little copyright notice on the right of panel one says “1999” which makes it just about the same age as Edcole1961’s laptop.
And I remember when that would have been one HOT machine. But now–ick!
“The Norm” quit running in papers several years ago. Jantze kept an online version going for a while. Now he’s working on animation.

Wow. The concepts played out in The Norm strips have been so universal that they never seem dated. Now I’m afraid that I’ll have a different respect for this strip now that I know these are “refurbished.”
