As someone who really doesn’t like that comic, I sincerely hope that the majority of people who read this say, “Who?”

I found this kind of fun. It’s really a list of things that have always been, or never been, part of the students’ world. The list is dated (named) for the year the class will graduate.

Actually, since the strip came to an end with the wedding of the older daughter, it has gone into reruns. Farley is alive and well and lives in a house with two small children

I like the fact that there are twenty-somethings who have never lived without “The Simpsons” being on television…or who have never seen a telephone with a dial!

They’re not so much reruns as a reboot back in time.

    That’s been my understanding.

“For Better or Worse” isn’t in reruns — Lynn Johnston rebooted the strip. The characters are back to the ages they were when the strip started — and they’ll stay that age — but the strips are new.

“On September 1, 2008, Johnston began what she called “new-runs”, restarting her storyline with new art and jokes. The time frame appears to be 29 years before the present day; the family is correspondingly younger. Michael looks to be about five or six years old, Elizabeth is a small child learning to talk, and the family is also raising a puppy. This new material was occasionally interspliced with strips from her original run. The strip subsequently went into straight reprints on July 12, 2010."

Just a reminder that I’ve got an Indiegogo campaign going right now: And that all books in the TNAOQV store are 50% off right now:

I feel so ignorant. I don’t get this at all…

You are taking your personal hatred to ridiculous levels. So what else do you personally don’t like and want the rest of us to as well? I know who Farley since it was a comic dog and a real one, both are dead.

Make a list and use what is called a “search engine” if you really want to get an understanding.

SPOILER ALERT – Nobody read further if you don’t want to know the future of the comic "For Better or For Worse. :-)

The comic has a dog named Farley, who dies heroically after saving the baby of the family from drowning. This comic is saying that the young folks of today have never known a time when Farley was alive.

I had the same look as Victoria when I read the line about Farley.
