If you trick the parrot into saying his name backwards … does he vanish?
(No way am I going to try to type the name of that villain… I can barely remember it.)

Thanks to you, Pab, I learnt what it was about. I’ve always envied a bit, that US citizens could expect US to stand for them abroad. But an ambassador? Boy, did US administration screw up big time :D

no, actually the administration did not screw up big time. A lot of things failed including the Pentagon and the State Department. For the last few months a band of rabid morons has been running around trying to pretend it was all the administrations fault and hoping t derail both the current President and the woman they think they can’t beat in the next election. So far, after multiple investigations and hearings they have not be able to point to a single failure of either person but that have been able to inflame a mob of low-information followers into thinking something must be wrong.

    pitch perfect:
WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Republican lawmakers asked increasingly tough questions today as they held another day of hearings to investigate, in the words of Rep. Darrell Issa (R-California), “Hillary Clinton’s suspiciously high poll numbers and what can be done to make them lower.”
“With the help of Fox News, we have brutally attacked Hillary Clinton for months, and yet she remains more popular than ever,” Rep. Issa said. “This committee needs to know how that happened, and how we can keep it from happening in the future.”

Of course, as False Noise would say…
“Those weren’t the fault of ANYONE in the Bush Administration! Don’t you know that NO Republican has EVER done anything wrong??”

Those attacks don’t count — they happened when Dumbya was President.

But Saudi Arabia was our bestest friend in 2004! Just look at the pictures of W and the Saudi prince holding hands! They must have been trying to attack the French embassy, and got confused…

We’re talking about the same intelligent upstanding party that spent 40M$ to investigate a blow job in the oval office. And undoubtedly spent all their time complaining about all the work it took to their mistresses and boy-toys all the while.

Let’s face it; the current GOP were trained by those responsible for Watergate, and think that that is the measure of a politician.

    We’re so doomed.
