Better if it was “77 Sunset Strip”.

But I thought that the sun never sets on the British Empire.

what is the deal about ratings? i mean, entertainment has become so fractured, that threshold on what is a hit is meaningless.

Is this a rerun? Studio 60 was cancelled in 2007. (and Good Riddance to it!)

Well the date on the strip is 12/11 so unless Pab has a time machine handy…

I loved that show, with Roger Smith, Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and Ed " Kookie" Burns.
If I recall, it was one of the first hour long detective shows on T.V.
Still, for all round coolness, you couldn’t beat Craig Stevens as Peter Gunn.

Not to mention “Legs” the secretary, who’s face was never shown on camera, but the legs were Mary Tyler Moore’s!
Also, don’t forget “Surfside 6”, and “Hawaiian Eye”!
(Oh Gawd, I’m REALLY showing my age…)

Not just 12/11, but 12/11/06.
I’m enormously relieved. The constant drumbeat of cancelled cartoons has made me paranoid whenever they joke like this.

I guess Pab is taking the week off.
Happy Thanksgiving, Pab.

Dear Pab, Say it ain’t so. Your strip is one of the things that helps me to endure a Michigan winter. Ooops, I hear a soliloguoy coming on…..“Now is the winter of our discontent. Made glorious Spring by this nymph of Hanover…”.

Not sure if “nymph” is the right word for Vickie.

Aw, c’mon, everyone. I’m sure that if the strip were cancelled, Pab would give us better notification than this. Isn’t that right, Pabs, ol’ buddy, ol’ pal?
…
Pab? You there?
