Kirk is actually a good Christian and person, he just has no business trying to explain science.

We always can use more examples of what we shouldn’t be, just in case we are what we’re not supposed to be.
Which begs the question: " To be or not to be?"

For a good example of how honest, decent people should not behave, just turn on Faux News Channel.

Actually, Mary’s got a point. Too bad so many people take the opposite lesson. Pretending to be a good Christian is very easy. Being one for real is very hard.

I’m with Ghandi on that one

Many people who call themselves Christians would not get along well with Jesus if they met him today

It’s no longer the word of Christ – it’s the word of the Church.

lol! So many “Christians” . . . so few practicing Christians!

    Mark 10:17-25, Matthew 19:24, Luke 6:24, Luke 12:21, Luke 12.33, Luke 12.48b, Luke 16:13, etc, etc . . .

Here is an interesting question; If, as most “Christians” believe, “The Meek shall inherit the Earth”, where does that leave the Republican Party? Ever meet a “meek” Republican?
Most of the Republicans I have met are rude, pushy, obnoxious, self-absorbed nincompoops who are TOTALLY convinced of their own importance, and FAR from “Meek”!
Case in point…Rusty Lamebrain, or Billow Reilly.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
But they have God on their side. Just ask them !

Kirk Cameron lies about history as well as science, and he’s an opponent of allowing gays the right to marry or women the right to full and free access to birth control. That, to my mind, may make him a “good Christian” but it sure don’t make him a good person. Anyone whose religion means that they feel the need to lie about anything in order to conform to a certain narrative, and to restrict the lives of other people, is not “good.”

Since Jesus never wrote anything down (that we know of), we will never know what he really said.

Let him “explain” science. I’ll just explain religion to him.

No use getting into “the True Scotsman” fallacy. Doesn’t work.
