That George ! He’s such a firecracker. To look at him, you wouldn’t know he was such an explosive character. But he did invent ( so he says, and he never lies ) the Cherry Bomb.

One week on, the Kickstarter for a seventh TNAOQV collection is at $200, or 53% of the goal. Let’s see if we can cross the finish line. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1786800131/lie-back-and-think-of-the-blender-a-tnaoqv-collect

Bit of trivia: back in the 1860’s, during the American Civil War, Punch had a cartoon of the ghost of George III doing pretty much the same thing to the Ghost of Washington,

A friend of mine works for the company that cast the Liberty Bell. Whenever someone here (in the US) tries to blame the crack on its casting rather than how it was moved and cared for, they repeat their generous offer to take it back and recast it.

Maybe not personally, but unarmed Loyalists were subjected to abuse and even murder by ‘patriots’.
That said, it should be noted that there were no treaties making a distinction between civilian and combatant at the time, and the term ‘terrorism’ hadn’t been invented yet, even in its original sense of state terrorism as practiced by the Jacobins during the Reign of Terror.
In fact, there is still no generally accepted meaning for ‘terrorism’, so at this point it is simply a ‘snarl word’ that describes the emotional point of view of the speaker or writer.
