This has got to be the most bizarre strip I’ve ever seen. I kinda like it. :)

Until this very moment, I had never heard of the existence of “Garfield as Garfield” bleeep you!
Dmajor said, about 1 month ago
Actually, that should be “Bleep you!” as a separate exclamation, and the bleep is the one as in the Hoover Bleep.

My scanner is down. Do you have any idea how long it takes to draw an acceptable Snoopy head using a trackball?

But HRH said “less aggressive lawyers”… this set of lawyers should be easy to deal with, they work for peanuts…

But I’ll bet even the intrepid Pab won’t take on Mickey You-Know-Who.

But Snoopy IS a lawyer–also a WWI air ace, Joe Cool, a vulture, etc.

Pab - You know that, and I know that, but it amazes me how many comments I read from folks who think a cartoonist is going to be sued for this stuff.

Pab you said “I try” to Rover Bump’s comment. I’d say you succeed! (and i, too, like it. very much!)

Snoopy is easy. Woodstock, now he’s hard.

Pab, I remember a classic old “Peanuts” cartoon where Patty says to Lucy, “I’m drawing a picture of Charlie Brown. But I can’t get the shape of his head right.”
Lucy replies, “Why don’t you use a compass? Or trace around a pie plate?”
Last frame shows an angry Charlie Brown chasing a laughing Lucy.
Priceless!

Actually, even highly skilled artists and parodists have trouble with Peanuts. Schultz was brilliant and subtle. Charlie’s head isn’t round, but it’s really hard to duplicate how it isn’t – and yet Schulz’s is immediately recognizable.

Nice mix of artistic styles.
