   I think that that is Prince Henry the Navigator. Used to pay explorers to wander the world and make maps for him. He himself never went anywhere.

   Hi Pab - it’s been a lot of years since I took German in H.S. I remember enough to get the gist of the last panel (although it’s pretty self explanatory). I googled to find out more about “The Battle of Stalingrad” during WWII.

   Good place for a “Bad GPS” ;-))
