I’ve found a restaurant’s preparation of General Tso’s Chicken is an excellent barometer for the rest of their menu.

They just need to apply some Bistromathics to the problem and Bob’s your QED.

…science now believes that the universe is shaped like a donut…that explains the bad Chinese food…

Please, your Majesty. Come over to the States, and try the Zen Garden in Grand Junction, Colorado. An amazing BBQ chicken in peanut sauce that will make your mouth happy.

Lewreader Re: “But do they deliver from Alpha Centuri?”

Maybe Londo Mollari can make a delivery when he visits Earth from Alpha Centauri Prime! (Babylon 5 aficionado)

For you Doctor Who fans - Maybe one of the Time Lords can get some takeout & make a delivery in his TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space) London police box.

Re-run, for those who didn’t know. September 17, 2006. Don’t know if she’s found one since then.

Re-runs next week, too, but with a twist. Ended up spending more time writing and producing the re-runs than on new strips.

Careful: Londo’s gift comes with a Shadow attached.

Hi Pab. A MoneyGram went in the mail this a.m. (7-05) I tried to include some on behalf of those who want to help but are not able to at this time. Hope it all works out.

I’ve never been to a bad Chinese restaurant. But maybe I’m just very lucky? Or maybe I’m just not that picky, so I can’t tell, if a restaurant is bad or not?

By the way, since I didn’t read this strip back in 2006, I don’t mind, that this is a re-run.

Furienna: I feel confident with rerunning the Sundays for right now because with very few exceptions I didn’t reprint them in the paperbacks.

The Sundays are always the hardest to do even when I CAN think straight, but once things have settled I hope to get a few of them in the can so I can start putting fresh ones up.

Gweedo: I don’t know how to thank you!

Gweedo: Thanks from those of us who want to help Pab, but can’t right now. (For example, we’re looking at $12K in plumbing/sewer issues this month. We can manage it, but it doesn’t allow us room to help others.) You’re very kind!

Hi Pab - I’m a new fan to New Adventures - will check out Amazon for those paperbacks! ReRuns are what makes Nick At Night (& other shows) so popular.

    Thanks for the info/background!

GJ: Actually, if you haven’t already bought them from Amazon, I sell them directly much cheaper. Click on “store” at http://www.newadventuresofqueenvictoria.com

Plus, I get a bigger and quicker cut through my site than through Amazon. :)

Pab - Cool - Haven’t made any purchases so I’ll check out your site! After I had posted, I thought I’d check my local bookstore to see if they’re available (keeps the small bookstores in business)…but I’ll go to your website instead.

Later though, I’m taking my dog to doggie park before it gets too hot!

You’re welcome pab and gwyncat. It’s not a king’s ransom but definitely more than a tenner. I will also be “donating” a few bucks to Joe Minotaur to help with the expense of materials that were used for the Brooke McEldowney interview (@NY comic con) which he can promptly plow into reconstruction of his flood damaged house. My friend and I will be meeting him in about a couple of days on our way back to Colorado. Despite the rain, western New York was a good visit but wouldn’t wanna re-live here. Have to go see Uncle Billy in the hospital now. He had a fall last week that my friend happened to mostly break. A cracked rib resulted which has him laid up for the present. he is 80 or so and rather frail. Be by in a day or two. Gweedo

Would love to help out, but my grandmother had a stroke on Saturday morning. She’s my primary concern now.

But I will pray for you and your mom. The Lord will provide.

By the way, this strip reminds me of Hitchhiker’s Guide. I’m a huge fan of the books and BBC TV show.

    Just remember: DON’T PANIC!

If the universe is roughly spherical, if we get a powerful enough telescope and see all the way across the universe, will we see our own galactic butt?
