Almost got her, and she isn’t ever a friend of his. I also like the way he’s dressed like Elmer Fudd. :))

(Waiting for the park to open, and reading comments.)
Tiny bit of trivia, today and the rest of this week were from the strip’s first month. That was back before I had created the “solid” speech bubbles I use today. That meant that I had to go in and manually erase the area within the speech bubbles after I had laid out the text and dropped a bubble around it.
I also had to be careful to get all of the area within the bubble without going outside; if I did I would have to Ctrl-Z and redo it.
Each of these strips took an hour to do, in addition to the time it took to create the graphics for the “Richard” character.
I’ve gotten a lot faster over the subsequent three years. Now I really CAN turn them out like link sausages…if I can think of an idea.

The “Richard” character? Oh wait… I get it. Automatic censors don’t recognise context.

Roger, but not THAT one, the other one.: No, that’s the name of the character. The few other times he appeared or was referred to, Vic referred to him as her friend Richard.
