If we don’t have plastic bags, how are we going to take the dog for a “walk”?

Or poop bags. I think there are some that are biodegradable.

It’s just plastic grocery bags that are banned. The ones that are easily recycled (most stores even have drop-off baskets at their entrances), yet most people just throw them away.

And you’ve hit it right on the head. The so called ecologist have thrown us civilians to the wolves (corporate capitalist greed bags). They rant and complain about the plastic bag, but not about the real problem – bags not being recycled. So they convince everyone who feels guilty that the bags are the problem instead of instituting incentives to recycle the bags. The corporate types love it; now they can sell bags to their consumers. You know the one that are supposed to be reusable, but you end up having to buy over and over again.
