NOT a direct sequel to Jedi! Set it years later, with all new characters! Forget all that expanded universe junk, with the Skywalker kids!

Want to see some fireworks?
Go to a Sci-Fi Convention, and get a discussion going on whether the Sovereign Class U.S.S. Enterprise-E could take out an Imperial Star Destroyer, or even the Death Star itself.
It’s HILARIOUS!!

@masterskrain
A Sovereign Class Enterprise E is 685 meters long. The first Death Star was 160, 000 meters in diameter. No fireworks, the Enterprise isn’t even a pimple on the Death Star’s butt.

O.K. I’m going to geekify myself here…Death Star apparently has no shielding worth a darn…several Phaser shots to pound a hole straight through to the power core, followed by a couple of Quantum Torpedoes = BOOM!
Another great discussion; Death Star Vs. Borg Cube…

The Enterprise could sooo take out ANYTHING from star wars

And so it begins…
There’s no basis for comparing made up future tech from two different universes. And the Star Wars universe does feature energy shields – in Jedi, it was the loss of the super star destroyer’s bridge shield generator that in turn allowed an alliance fighter to crash into and destroy the bridge, leading to the ship loosing control and crashing into the Death Star. The Death Star itself was protected by the energy shield generator on Endor, which was the reason behind Han, Luke and Leia going there to take out the shield generator to leave the Death Star vulnerable to the Alliance attack.

(And THIS is why those discussions are SO much fun to get started!!)

OK so here it is. The Enterprise drops out of warp on Endor and launches a full spread of photon torpedoes and phasers on the shield generator. With that out of the way the Enterprise can now take out the Death Star no problem.

I’m kinda Old School here; Robbie the Robot vs. Gort?
Any thoughts here? (Consider that Robbie could operate independently while Gort needed Klaatu to give orders).

“Gort…Klaatu barada nikto”
Versus;
"Welcome to Altair 4, Gentlemen. For your convenience I am monitored to respond to the name “Robby”.
I think I’ll stick with Robby, or even B-9!
“Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!”

By the way…does anyone else think “Bantha Nookie” sounds like a GREAT band name??

The first key question when doing the Trek ship v. Wars ship fight is: “Do Star Wars shields block transporters?” If they don’t, even a small Star Trek ship can tear Star Wars ships to bits using T-Bombs.
