    AWWW! If you are gonna give a family member a pet for Christmas, there is NO BETTER place to get one then the local rescue shelter!

    I think the point of the coupon is that the recipient hikes over to the animal shelter and picks out a pet they want and can care for, at the giver’s expense. My last cat was $75 from Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.

    We volunteer at CHA in Columbus. Fostered 18, adopted two, now have six. The love these many times damaged animals can give is worth the time and expense. Thanks, Keith! Also check out Best Friends web site. NO MORE HOMELESS PETS!
