Yup, you can drown them, I had my riding mower propped up to fix it, it died right on top of a red ant hill and I crawled underneath to fix it, I was covered with red ants from head to toe,ripped off my clothes, jumped in the shower, all gone, thank goodness, not a good memory. lol..
