I laugh at Pearls AND the Fusco Brothers.

    But then, I’m easily amused.

There’s something different about Fusco’s humor. Must be an acquired taste…..but once acquired, addicted.

You would say “The Fusco Brothers ARE amusing” only if you mean the characters themselves are funny.

(Note that the title is not in italics or quotes.)

“I think ‘The Fusco Brothers’ IS amusing” refers to the strip by its title, which is singular, as in the strip above.
(In fact I would say “The Fusco Brothers” is particularly singular.)

Analogy: “To me, ‘Pearls Before Swine’ IS amusing because Rat and Pig ARE funny.”

    Pedantry strikes again.
