    What’s bad is when the wedding starts early. One time I and a friend arrived at a wedding exactly on time and they were already exchanging vows. Didn’t do much for those who got there when they were supposed to. The ones who were late probably weren’t too happy, either.

    I’ve been officiating at weddings for 25 years, and I’ve never seen one start early. It’s hard enough to get them to start on time!

    That’s what I thought too! Someone always checks that the groom is waiting at the front before the bride heads down the aisle.
