    Gee, now that I know that - the joke just doesn’t seem to have the same meaning. (sarcasm)
    When a person who knows the beach expounds on it’s nature, I think they’re talking out of the side of their mouth.

    I suspect cartoonists sometimes put errors in their drawings just to see if readers are paying attention. On the other hand, it may be that they just screwed up.
