Man: Okay, focus group... any more ideas for a Blackberry-like device for the over-60 set? Professor: A voice disguiser for telemarketers! Man: I don't quite understand... Professor: Here... Boone and I will show you. Hello, Mr. Boone. How are you this evening? Boone: My daddy isn't home. I'm three years old. Man: Brilliant!
Wouldn’t help with the robo calls. I actually have no problems with telemarketers if a real person calls, I can interrupt them and ask to be removed from their calling list. When the caller is just a recording though… that is when it really gets irritating. Even if those calls do have a “push this button to be removed” option, they never honor it… and you have to sit through the entire spiel before they give it to you..I have gotten to the point where, if I pick up the phone, and it is a recorded voice, I start getting stressed out.
