My computer expertise ends at two tin cans and a piece of twine.

That’s why I had children. Problem is, they have grwon up and moved out. So now when percussive maintanence fails I have to do the fixit by long distance or at worst pack it up and send it to them for repair. After all, my son did build it for me.

When I was still in the Navy one of the ensigns purchased a rather elaborate sound system. She was determined to set it up by her self. Did a good job, except for plugging the power strip into the back of the amplifier!

Why hook up to TV cable?

You hook up the TV cable because the instructions say so! If you forget a step, things just won’t work right!

Ah yes, but can that 10 year old do a tune up on your 49 Studebaker truck? ya know, points, plugs and timing? Can the little dear write cursive? Smarts is a relative thing and current technology is a moving target. That said, I am somewhat mystified by the insides of a PC.
