    Joe,

Maybe they leave their door open during the day when they don’t mind or would welcome company stopping in to visit.

When my dad was recovering from a stroke in a re-hab facility/elder care home, it was like that. They really enjoyed someone popping in. Otherwise…door closed.

Da. Motive, opportunity, and means. Axe, well-like by the Residents, had roughly zero of those.

Motivated Ludmilla, otherwise, after telling Axe to “Swim with the Fishes” [it lost something in the early translations] knew when to take the opportunity to gather up the “evidence”, and then had the means to plant it, and “lay low”.

No, she litterally uttered an “idiom” in Russian, which can be virtually translated…roughly.

…..and there’s your motive in-a-nutshell; her NEED to feel the need to [curse].
