You can never have too many Andrews McMeel calendars.

My son bought me a Get Fuzzy page-a-day for Christmas. I almost hate to desecrate it by tearing off the pages.

I get really excited about page-a-day calendars, but it’s really a bummer when you buy one that seems interesting only to find out that it’s not what you expected. I am just cheap enough that I live with the calendar instead of throwing it away. So it’s like 365 days of self-torture.

I got the Lio page a day.
Is there an opening theme song to The Doozies?
Ya take the good
Ya take the bad
Ya take them both
and there you have
The Doozies Dad
The Doozies Dad…
There are times
when it seems
that Brenda Starr’s
not living up to
your dreams
And suddenly you’re finding out
The Doozies Dad is all about blues
erasing your day-to-day blues!

I always get The New Yorker page a day calendar, and I’m never disappointed.

BTW - Mr. G. - I enjoyed your tribute to the past year. Very tasteful and touching.

Page a day calenders are neat, but they never last past the first month. By February I’ve always looked ahead to the end of the year.

margueritem:
Thanks for the suggestion.
Dypak:
For me it’s like Christmas. I love the anticipation and would never want to look ahead.

Calendars always seem to end the same. It’s December 30 and then it’s over.

Tom poor man, you are missing out on the wildest night of the year. Stay with us big guy. You don’t want to miss Dec. 31. It’s a day of parties, wild drunken mayhem and when it’s all over, no matter what’s happened, it’s so yesterday, it’s so last year.

This is the first year I will do without my Yogi Bhajan page a day calendar at home and my Donkey calendar at work. Trying to shake things up a bit. I’ll get a Yogi Bhajan calendar for work and a Donkey calendar for home! Just trying to embrace the spirit of change.

I hate getting behind and the next thing you know you have to tear off of fist full of page-a-days, how depressing.
