In every marriage since the beginning of recorded time there’s been a “husband” and a “wife”. That’s the definition of marriage. So if lezbos get “hitched”, who’s the husband and who’s the wife? And why can’t ten lezbos get hitched to each other?

    crickets……

Even in 2001 Americans gunned down 3 times more people among each other than were killed in the 9/11 attack, yet not a squeak was made about it. I guess it’s ok when Americans shoot each other, but if arab terrorists do it then we have to bankrupt ourselves going to war avenging it.

They leave out the fact many people are stabbed to death with knives, erog, we must ban all knives, then no one would ever be stabbed to death again

    Dear Mercins,
If you promise to use the money to build a very very very high wall around your country I will personally make sure everyone on this planet will contribute.

    The rest of the world.

The problem isn’t the prevalence of firearms it is the prevalence of criminals. The real irony is that arming the honest citizens just could be the cure for the disease of too many criminals.

Law-abiding citizens are not the problem. It’s the criminals, who are already law-breakers, that are the problem. And no, those quoting statistics here are conveniently twisting them to serve their socialist agenda. The reality is that legal gun ownership is at an all-time high, and crime is at an all-time low. Coincidence? I don’t think so. People use knives, baseball bats, tire wrenches and cars to commit crimes and kill people all the time. But I don’t see anyone advocating making it illegal to drive to a ball game, making it illegal for a private citizen to change one’s own flat tire, or making it illegal to attempt to cut a steak with a utensil other than a fork. As Disraeli said, “There are three kinds of lies. There are lies, there are damned lies, and there are statistics.” If the hoplophobes and the socialist left-leaners would shut up, there’d be no problem. Put a “season” on gang members and thugs — no problem. Remove the gangstas, thugs and criminals from the population, no problem. Heinlein had it right.

If marriage is sacred, then only churches should be concerned with WHO gets married
