    Then let’s go file bankruptcy! Aren’t we lucky? We are the only industrialized nation that gets to file bankruptcy over medical bills!!! Hurray for us and our wonderful system!

    Well, there’s no free lunch. Go check out health care in other countries. Austria takes a huge chunk of my daughters paycheck and when she had to have an appendectomy she was in a ward with 4 other women, no bathroom, it was down the hall and she was not allowed to know what pain meds they were giving her until she checked out the next day. It was Tylenol. That explained her severe pain. So this lady has a better choice, buy some insurance and have the best health care in the world or go someplace with socialized healthcare, pay half of your salary for substandard care.
