    Yep, the good ol’ U.S. of A., the only country I’ve been to that warns you not to go into the “black” section of town after dark.

    Obviously, there’s no reason for that kind of warning.

    How about if we expand it to include the Latino section, too. Would that be OK?

    I went to LA a few several ago with my ex (we were married then). We stayed with relatives in the neighborhood she grew up in. I was warned not to go out after dark by myself. Not a neighborhood where it was safe to be white.

    Or you can be a solid citizen like the ex-Celtics star Dee Brown and make the mistake of going to Wellesley.
