Self–described “angry cartoonist” Mikhaela Reid’s multi–panel weekly strip The Boiling Point offers up her unique and steaming blend of passionate political satire, darkly whipsmart humor, moral outraged–ousness and fully engaged give–a–damn fun. From “Dick Cheney’s Magical Universe” to “The Brighter Side of Middle East Violence”, from “Bush Versus My Cat” to “Every Sperm Is Sacred!”, Reid’s boldly drawn and ingeniously conceived commentaries offer those steamed off by these ill–tempered times a well–crafted outlet for mental venting.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing that hasn’t worked before and expecting different results.

this cartoon brings up the question- why do lower middle class to poor people become republicans? Here’s my theory: republicans are either 1) the stereotypical rich who want the laws slanted to their benefit. 2) very religious social conservatives who want the laws to reflect their beliefs or 3) hateful people, from the bigot next door to Ann Coulter and Rush. So why do #3s want tax cuts for rich people? Because they want to make sure the people they hate do not get any help. That includes school, jobs, healthcare, etc.

And the doctor says the new meds make him much less violent.

Re Foxglove:
4) people who despise both mainstream parties, but feel the Republicans will do less damage to the country than the Democrats will.

Do you really think a loon like TM would care what you guys said to him on the editorial side? You should hope that he doesn’t start posting over there. He would probably drive you all so batty that you would forget to argue about politics. HM, maybe he should go over there.

doctortoon, right on. The underground says 1 team got some keys and reconfigured some ‘code’. From yet another source I’ve heard he’s arguing with God about whether or not he’ll be allowed to come back here at all. I wonder who will win that argument!
The bigger question we should all be asking is when will the angry cartoonists learn to draw hands properly. Looks like something ADooiE would do.

Tax cuts haven’t failed. Democrat spending has failed. You have no right to my income to help your lazy and stupid masses.

lurch1313 - We’ll pass your sentiments along to the unemployment office should you lose your job someday. Make sure you never accept social security benefits either, OK?
It would be a real shame if anyone else had to contribute to your support should you ever need it, wouldn’t it?
