I like the sun effects on him as the day goes by.

I like the sun effect, too, but it’s going the wrong way.

    Perhaps they’re in Australia?

Hmmm that’s the way the sun rises and sets from where I’m sitting. The east is on my left. I know Floridians do some strange things but that’s something we are certain of.

Neat, even the shadows follow, good drawing Ralph. The whole thing is great!!

Assuming we’re in the northern hemisphere and facing south, toward the plane of the ecliptic (the area of the sky where the sun, moon, and planets appear), it’s perfectly correct. East to our left; west to our right.

However, unless the last panel takes place in the pre-dawn hours of the early morning – the MOON is wrong! The lit edge of the crescent moon should be toward the sun, not away from it. That’s a waning crescent moon, which rises after midnight and before the sun, in the wee hours. Oh well, maybe he’s still awake in the wee hours!
