    ‘One Tin Soldier’ by the Original Cast.
    (You might remember it as the theme from Billy Jack)

    Heard an interesting tidbit once. Piece Of My Heart was a one-hit for Janis Joplin. Every other hit that she had was as part of a band.

    A silly one hit wonder.

    And can anyone believe that Paris Hilton had a one hit wonder???

    Devo had 7 albums, 2 EPs, and 3 singles that charted in the US top 100. (wikipedia). That’s hardly “1 hit”.

    @Chris Maple

    Yeah Chris, I was thinking the same thing about Scott’s inclusion of Devo in that list.

    Honestly, Devo wasn’t a one hit wonder band, but ok.

    Agreed!

    It’s the other way around. Piece of My Heart was recorded by Big Brother and the Holding Company, with Janis Joplin credited as vocalist. She left the group after their one self-titled album and started her solo career with a backup band of her own choosing.

    I really like that song by Nena. Nice song and good memories of a good time in my life.

    The top all-time one hit wonder is Zager & Evans’ “In the year 2525”
    Fastest rise to #1 and fastest fall…and it sold 20,000,000 copies!

    Agree with you and Stratmanron.

    I think we need to demand a do-over on this cartoon…
