    The Long Neck Monster can sit behind the ladies with big hats….

    The Locked Nest monster is kinda paranoid about leaving home.

    Personally, I’d like to find the Lox Next Monster….

    The Lurk Less monster needs to speak up in the forums….
    except he’ll probably tell me to…. well….you know

    Capone saw one, but he didn’t think it was very much like Eliot. He was touchable, for one thing.

    I wish I could remember the Ray Bradbury story, (In “The Martian Chronicles.”) wherein the poor Martian finally died trying to appear as too many people at once.

    My Google search wasn’t precise enough.

    The Lick Necks monster is an associate of a vampire, preparing people to be his dinner.

    That one was: “September 2005: The Martian.”

    @gir63

    Thank you! Here is the complete “Martian Chronicles” online.

    “September: 2005: The Martian,” begins at the bottom of page 45. (But if you’ve never read them, start at the beginning.)

    shouldn’t the monster be fuzzy, out of focus, and resemble a twig?
