   Of course Goofy is a dog…. (though AFAIK not a “weiner” dog cos he’s way too tall.
   Some sort of hound.)

   
   And he’s a big star, too….
   but Pluto is no longer a little planet.

   I guess it was a mystery as to whether Goofy was really a dog because unlike Pluto, he does not act like a dog. Having Parvo, however, eliminates doubt.

   A lot of people have always thought he was a cow. If you watch the original cartoon “Steamboat Willie” I think it was called, he is wearing a yoke around his neck. Almost makes no sense that he is a dog and so is Pluto. I think he just morfed into a dog over time.
