Hey, I’m a Christian and I still think this is pretty funny. Christians make spoofs of things in the Bible too, and as far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing wrong with it.
I think wesitie is speaking about the runar link….that WAS very anti-religious. There’s no place for that. No one who calls themselmes a Christian would be alright with the cartoon on that link unless they are someone who likes to CALL themself a Christian. I don’t have a problen with the above cartoon. I’m talking about the esus one one the runar link.
Calvin: Thanks for agreeing with me if I had meant the link Runar had mentioned, which I did not go to, since I had the feeling it wasn’t something I would want to see.
I did mean the cartoon and while I realize they had humor back in “those” days, I don’t believe it behooves us, in “these” days, to make light of very spiritual things. There is nothing wrong in being lighthearted, but being lightminded about spiritual things is disrespectful.
From the comments, I realize that you all don’t agree me, and that’s okay. I was was merely standing up for what I believe and feel.
Runar: I definitely won’t be viewing the other site you mentioned! Thanks for the warning, but it’s unlikely I would try it!
The Argyle Sweater presents a surreal, hilarious (and sometimes punny) look at the world you think you know. Armed with a willingness to explore every edge of the surreal, Scott Hilburn’s creation presents his sharply unique take on history, everyday life and the truly absurd.

This sounds a lot more plausible. Also check out http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=1348#comic

How disrespectful! It is not funny! And it’s totally unnecssary. There is no reason to make light of spiritual things. Very poor taste.

If westie means the cartoon on the link, the comment should specify that, and stay away from www.sinfest.net, too.
