    @Buddy Landry

    A military man wearing a mask with a nose piece to hide his disfigurement from battle.
    A flash up from his musket as he fired burning his face and nose.
    His rise to rank is by speaking little except as needed to command. He knows the horror of war and the price it claims.

    Take a look at the artist’s website. It says, “Boethius is the moniker of artist Peter Mann. In March 2013, his Don Quixote drawings were distributed in pages of books in bookstores in San Francisco.”

    I don’t know where Veteran found his information but it is incorrect. Boethius was a real person, but instead of a military leader he was an ancient Roman philosopher (died 525 A.D.)

    My observation was his clothing and the reference to don Quixote which would be the correct clothing for the time.
    I never said anything about the name simply the person. I did not mean to imply the name was the character drawn. My bad if I inferred that.
    I knew it belonged to Peter Mann.
