‘BTG’ is one of the most popular humor authors of all time. With numerous New York Times Best Sellers to his credit, countless publishing awards, and over 22,000,000 copies sold in 115 countries, you would think his brain would be highly organized ... But it’s not.
The Lost Bear feature, exclusive to GoComics, is ample proof of this. Welcome to BTG’s lifelong cerebral misadventure. The Lost Bear showcases the delightfully odd daily debris that tumbles out of BTG’s head when his mental engine starts to misfire. This is public therapy at its most entertaining, set within an absurdist pseudo-intellectual petting zoo – Feel free to feed the bear.

I met some Australians in San Francisco, and found out that everyone gets a month’s paid vacation. They were surprised that it wasn’t like that here.

@margueritem
Did they mention the 17.5% annual leave loading?

@Superfrog
No, they didn’t. What is that?
Superfrog said, 8 months ago
@margueritem
Well, during your 4 weeks annual leave, you get an extra 17.5% on top of your usual wage so you can afford a proper holiday. Of course you don’t get that for long service leave, sick leave, family leave or study leave.

BTG: (yesterday) Good interview, although you were perhaps a little bit over the top of her head.

“Six fingered nose-pickers”? I’ll try to remember that one. Nice new shirt, or very well ironed one? Yes, I did enjoy the book, in the sun in the Med.

Good to see the beard again; keep it growing – I enjoy being hairy.

They do indeed, dear Marg.
Interesting fact: More zookeepers are bitten by otters than by any other animal.

We Aussies are spoiled – though it is equally true that Americans do not know how to take a decent vacation. Your Protestant work ethic is killing your commitment to the leisurely consumption of brightly coloured drinks.

Hmmmm, I was rather enjoying your diplomatic efforts until you slipped this fishy pun into the mix.
Pack your bags, Mr Ambassador, you’re on the first boat off the island!

@Pacopuddy
Yes, Pacopuddy, they never recovered from his death in 687, and all otters lost their faith and became violent and universal atheists, hence the attraction to Soviet waters.

Ha hah – very good, Articulate Caveman.
Canned seafood is the worst – no wonder they are cranky.
