I’m pretty sure that Forkupines are a distant relative of the Cutleryfish.

I think he’d look better with bits of pineapple and cheese stuck on him; but not as fierce.

It has been suggested that Forkupines are close to the cutting edge of evolution because of their exclusive diet of Swiss Army Ants.

On Sunday, they eat Salvation Army Ants.

You have brought shame upon us all, Superpun. May your anus be plugged with stainless steel tines.

I loathe your puns, but I love your strangeness.
And my snooty literary side hates that you make it laugh.
Damn you and your sun-damaged Queensland brain!

By the way, Lost Bears, I was just chatting online with the celebrated illustrator and children’s author, and also creator of The LeftyBosco Picture Show, Keith DuQuette. He is a genuine delight, and if yodaily dose of delightful strangeness needs to be increased, I recommend you add his work to your most-see GC list. Here’s a link for today’s curious and vivid tribute to the man who discovered Greenland.

Queensland’s OK by me. Are you back now, BTG?

BTG, that is terrific of you to post this.
Great to connect with you. We are kindred weirdos there’s no doubt. But clearly the difference between you and me is that I draw monkeys. You draw them and get bitten by them!

I’m sort of back, Articulate Caveman,
I’ve been swamped by another project since I touched down, but I am slowly clearing my desk, and yearn for Lost Bear therapy.
I hope to post some new cartoons next week.
But rest assured, I keep myself aware of all your nefarious and amusing shenanigans.
