‘BTG’ is one of the most popular humor authors of all time. With numerous New York Times Best Sellers to his credit, countless publishing awards, and over 22,000,000 copies sold in 115 countries, you would think his brain would be highly organized ... But it’s not.
The Lost Bear feature, exclusive to GoComics, is ample proof of this. Welcome to BTG’s lifelong cerebral misadventure. The Lost Bear showcases the delightfully odd daily debris that tumbles out of BTG’s head when his mental engine starts to misfire. This is public therapy at its most entertaining, set within an absurdist pseudo-intellectual petting zoo – Feel free to feed the bear.

@BTG He probably feels like the NSW Blues after they lost the State of Origin series last night. QLD 21- Blues 20 in the decider.
Apparently, NSW have never been able to celebrate a series Origin win on line much because the last time they won Facebook and Twitter didn’t exist.

Your cartoon today unfairly portrays Canadians as inept in the sport of baseball. You must forgotten that Fergie Jenkins was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991. Then of course, there is also…uhhh…ummm… Well, never mind… You’re right.

Hello! The Blue Jays won the World Series twice in a row, and the Expos were on track to make it a Canadian team winning three times in a row . . . then the American teams and owners called a strike and destroyed the momentum. Miserable gits, they believe in fair play so long as they’re winning. Also, who actually believes the goose cr&p about Abner Doubleday inventing baseball? Canadians were playing it years before, not to mention baseball evolved from the BRITISH game called rounders.

They do have a lot to say to the umps, though.
Like GoldenRoya, I can’t think of geese without thinking of goose-poopy.
Happy, happy, happy!!!

Nothing against Canadian people – but the Canadian geese we get poop to high heaven and honk endlessly when in town.
I love this baseball toon – bet he can’t honk!

Every year a pair of Canadian geese nest on the roof on the church right by my house. After several years I have never seen the chicks jump off the roof when it’s time. I’d love to watch that.

To clarify, this cartoon is really about my being terrified of Canadian geese, and has nothing to do with Canadian athletes choking!
I have been chased around green fields and river banks in the summer by these aggressive waterfowl, their beaks snapping hungrily at testicle height, and it readily explains to me how, with a number of notable exceptions, Canadians don’t really feature much in track and field, but excel at winter sports!

Damn it, Not Again!
At least it was close for once … (sigh).

@Tame
Ha hah, very funny, Tame.
The truth is that I actually know nothing about baseball, so it was more of a general summer sport comment, knowing that the majority of my lost bears are American baseball aficionadi or closet bird watchers.

I don’t know about that – There was a “Shoeless Joe” in the top 100 Greatest Baseball Players list, so I dare say there could be room for a “Pantless Flash” as well.
