    Going to be hard to wait a whole week for these to come out, I know I’m hooked

    Over the years we’ve seen some Dog Eat Doug strips with art on this level, hard to keep that up with a daily strip I imagine

    Brian, with two comics and working on a novel you must be pretty busy these days. I seem to remember you worked making video games at one point too. Hope there’s still time to relax and play with the pets and family

    @Doctor Toon

    Thanks. I am planning on increasing to two days a week. Hopefully at the beginning of the year.

    And yes, thank you, I am blessed with time to relax with the family. Most of this stuff just goes on in my head anyway, regardless of what I’m doing.

    Man, that artwork is great. The layout. The atmosphere. Very cool.

    @Sardonis

    Thanks. I do lighten up the atmosphere later. It started to get too dark. I think you’ll notice.

    Not all heroes are born……most are made.
    Great start to your story.
    One compared your work to Will Eisner.
    I agree with that one. A long time fan of the Spirit.
    But I will go one further. Try Mobius.

    @Veteran

    Thanks again! I’m working hard on the style. In the newer pages I’ve put focus back on form. Things started to get too “atmospheric”. It has it’s place, but had started taking over the pages.

    @Brian Anderson

    It is your creation…..go with the flow.
    It works.

    I guess starting out too dark may be the best way to go. That way you get a feel of the narrator’s past and maybe why he is the way he is when the main storyline is in progress.

    Great point. I shall say I did it intentionally now.

    Too taxing on my memory. I think I’ll come back and read the whole sequence in a month or two. Still… I’m liking it!
