Just about what I would expect given the state of education in the US today. Sad.

Most folks complaining about “today’s education” would be very hard pressed to pass any sixth grade schedule.

I really haven’t noticed any more idiots today than we had back when I graduated. Some of those kids were as dumb as a bag of rocks.

If anything, today’s kid will be good at hiking. Have you ever picked up one of their backpacks?

I thought it was less than 10 percent, according to “Uncle Martin” the Martian (played by the incomparable Christopher Lloyd) from the “My Favorite Martian” movie.

I remember going to my first basketball game, and asking how many quarters are there. Duh.

Get the politicians out of education and watch it go. They are the big hold up for education. Also generation that got their education paid for by tax payers and now don’t want to pay the taxes for their kids. Thankfully we had good parents.

The problem is the stuff you learn in school isn’t really used in the work force when you get out there. The best skill one can learn in school/college is how to be able to learn, not what you retain.
