The Born Loser began in 1965 as a strip with no central characters that revolved around the loser theme. Gradually, it developed into the comic we see today, starring lovable loser Brutus Thornapple, his wife Gladys, mother-in-law Ramona Gargle, boss Rancid Veeblefester, dim-witted son Wilberforce and the mischievous neighbor Hurricane Hattie O'Hara.
Artist Chip Sansom began apprenticing for his father, Born Loser creator Art Sansom, in 1977. He became a full-time assistant, and gradually took on an ever-increasing role in the drawing and gag-writing duties until his father passed away in 1991.

Hamstring? You’d be trying to bend the OTHER way.

That Post-it ad on the left has to be the most annoying things ever! I’m making a note to NEVER buy those things.

Remember, most of us (I bet even you Americans) ARE NOT seeing the same ad. Me, I see a “clever Mom uses $5 trick to erase wrinkles and looks younger instantly!” ad.
Just pay $4 for shipping. Guaranteed. Sure. Like THAT’S my main concern.

I’ve got an express horoscope ad to download on the left.

Whenever I see an annoying ad for anything I make a mental note never think of that place first. Their advertising costs will have to be paid by me. I’ve found that service businesses that advertise a lot cost more and don’t do the best job.

Strange – I don’t see ANY ads to the left OR right…maybe my “Adblock” add on is responsible?

My ad is for St. Jude’s Hospital. Not so annoying.

I’ve got no ads at all. I don’t run an ad-blocker, so I guess that my browser is doing it for me. I use Mozilla SeaMonkey Suite 2.15, which has Firefox 18.0 as the browser..

@gekk0
I just hit reload, and now I’ve got ads. Weird…
