Thatababy's philosophy can be summed up quite neatly: To keep his parents on their toes. This new comic strip stars - well, a baby, of course, and the mother and father in charge of raising him. Thatababy's premise is as fun and instantly accessible as its crisp, colorful art: It's a baby's job to drive parent's crazy. You may recognize Thatababy as a finalist and runner-up in the Amazon Comic Strip Superstar contest that ran on Amazon.com in the fall of 2009. Thatababy received glowing reviews from the contest's celebrity panel of judges.

It is a cool trick, and little kids love stuff like this.

It’s SCIENCE, next on Mythbusters… Do straw wrappers actually do this.
Then we will blow them up.
simpsonfan2 said, 5 months ago
We just tore the end off th wrapper, and blew it across the room, or as far as possible.

Sadly, those two tricks don’t work so well anymore. The drinking straw wrappers I’ve seen now have air perforations so they won’t blow around the cafeteria and are structured so that they don’t scrunch up.
I suspect the Lunch Ladies Lobby.

This does work, my Dad taught me this when I was a kid. However was ossiningaling said is true that the wrappers are different. (You guys need to have names easier to spell.)

Actually, there’s a new “unofficially official” Mythbusters fansite – http://www.citadelofmyths.freeforums.net/ .

Feel free to ask your question there.

President Aria was impressed also when Athena did the trick in “Aria the Animation”.

I haven’t seen a paper straw wrapper in years.

Unfortunately, I taught my kids the trick where you blow the wrapper at each other, and it always seems to be aimed at me. :-o

I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS.

I LOVE doing this. It’s all OSHA has left us since they mandated non-blowable straw wrappers. 8^(
