Thatababy's philosophy can be summed up quite neatly: To keep his parents on their toes. This new comic strip stars - well, a baby, of course, and the mother and father in charge of raising him. Thatababy's premise is as fun and instantly accessible as its crisp, colorful art: It's a baby's job to drive parent's crazy. You may recognize Thatababy as a finalist and runner-up in the Amazon Comic Strip Superstar contest that ran on Amazon.com in the fall of 2009. Thatababy received glowing reviews from the contest's celebrity panel of judges.

If Baby thinks that Dad is a caveman, what does he think his Granddad is?

Hmmm. Microfish. Was the information written on their scales?

I have a genealogy handbook that my denomination (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, better known as the Mormons) put out in the 1950s.

The writer spends an entire chapter on the glory of microfiche and microfilm as archival tools.
[]
Makes you wonder what he would have done if he had seen the internet as we know it today.

At the rate technology is exploding, Thatababy’s little brother (when he gets one) will think of HIM as a caveman!

By the time he’s ready to use one, libraries will probably be out of existence.

Back when I was young if you want to change the channel, you had to walk over to the TV and turn the dial.

The kids were usually the “remote” and did that. :-)

OK. This one made me smile, even if it was a bit predictable.

I worked for a company and I printed Microfiche for 10 years.. Had to flush it twice per week twice bleach. I bought a Rain Suit when it was my turn to do this task including covers for my shoes.
Kept me from ruining my clothes when the bleach scattered from the scrubbing we had to do.. Yes protective goggles and rubber gloves too.
Had to make lots of copies for many reports.
We were all so happy when our company bought technology (virtual disc) that replaced the micro fiche. The reluctant department to change over was payroll, they changed their mind real quick when they told them to find an associates records with the last name beginning with ‘T’ the the person using the Virtual Disc had the information pulled up before the person using the microfiche could locate the bag with the associates with their last name beginning with the letter ‘T’, they were sold.
We were glad to see that machine go out the door.

Plus it was on a Black and White Set and you had only 5 Networks, NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, and an Independent Station. The Stations signed on at 05:00 with the Star Spangled Banner and signed off ad Midnight with the Star Spangled Banner. Between Midnight and 5:00 there was a Test Pattern and Test Tone
