It’s a bit difficult finding an image of Mohammed. Also there’s the retribution thing

Dangerous. Muslims still kill people for doing stuff like that. The christians have largely given it up….

It’s a Christian themed painting. You find a painting of The Prophet and I’m sure someone will oblige.

    re: pcolli

There are some images of mohammed, despite being forbidden. But the commentors today are correct. It’s the same reason the U.S. media tiptoes around the 1.56 million minority in this nation. They don’t want their studios blown up or to get beaten up like non-muslims routinely are in places like Dearborn, Michigan.
I’d note in passing that one of those fascinating things of U.S. demographics is that most of those who look middle-eastern in the U.S. are Coptic Christians (the original Egyptians before the Arab invasions) and Orthodox Christians from places like Lebanon. Islam didn’t become “popular” until the various racist hate groups of the 1950s on like Nation of Islam were started up to attack non-black people, proselytizing among the criminal element in prisons. Indeed, there’s a war that began some months ago where black Americans started attacking hispanics and Mexicans. The results won’t be good for those hate groups, given that there are 60+ million Mexicans in the U.S.
The comments on the comic do bring up a good point: given how many hundreds of thousands of paintings there have been in european art in the last millennium or so, why does the comic writer in the last six month just insult Christ and the Bible?
To those of us who believe in Christ, they are annoying, rather than funny. One of the reasons I only occasionally nowadays look at the strip. The old ones that covered much more variety of subject matter were a lot funnier.

Things aren’t so different, here in the UK. In my oipnion, if it weren’t for religions there’d be a lot less trouble in the world.

Outwest in the old days, they would take ‘um to a ’neck tie party’ and let them ‘dance on air’. They would have a real ‘swinging good time’ whenever they would catch a horse thief.
