    Dressed like that, I’d say “Don’t Have to Ask, Don’t Have to Tell—Is Obvious.”

    @mabrndt (yesterday):
    .
    Other sources aren’t so sure. I’ll stick with “truck”….I grew up with that, along with “semi” and “ute”. Where I lived a garage (with final syllable stressed) was where you kept your car and a garage (with the stress on the first syllable) was where you had it repaired. Stupid language.

    Click-to-enlarge image can be found here, or at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry.

    Officer Writing a Letter isn’t, as far as I can tell, shown by its current-location. A different coloration image can be found here.

    At around the same time, the artist painted this, shown by its current-location page (and described on pages 26-29 here), this, shown by its current-location page, and this, at the same museum as this one.

    All 4 have an officer, a letter, and a trumpeter (also functioned as a courier). The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated German Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).

    Seventh, of the 11 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here.

    I don’t care what he writes, as long as he spells my name correctly.
