Sorry, #2 is not a mullet, and #1 is questionable.

I watched Richard Harris in “Cromwell” the other day. All of the “Puritans” seemed to be sporting mullets…which were hairpieces…and you could see the join. Painful.

“The Mullette Brothers new album is released on May the 23rd. The collectors edition includes a 50 minute DVD demonstrating how you, too, can achieve such tonsorial elegance.”

    “Robert, stop scratching.”

    “But it itches.”

“I warned you we shouldn’t pose for this guy.”

“You’re right. I should have known from the people in his other paintings that he’s got fleas."

Humongous (may take some time to display) image available from here. Smaller enlarged image available from here or here (last View All Sizes choice).

Sir Endymion Porter and Anthony van Dyck is described in its current-location’s webpage (the origin of the humongous image). Here is a shorter description (has the painting’s alternate title) and different coloration click-to-enlarge image. Another different coloration click-to-enlarge image is available from here. He also painted this as well as this portrait of Sir Endymion Porter. His Wikipedia page and collection (much more available in the Subcategories at each level).

So far, 5 works by this artist have appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog.
