On the other hand, Hillary sometimes says stuff I agree with so I hate her guts marginally less.”

Yes, it’s the always-tolerant Ted Rall who will despise you if you fail to march in lockstep with his beliefs. I bet Ted can’t wait to urinate on Hillary’s grave after she dies.

Apparently you haven’t watch some of the latest programs airing during “family time”. I figure another ten years or so and you will be able to see it all.

Having as much power as Hillary has, for as long as she has, and additionally being saddled with all of Bill’s decisions, she can not have avoided having things that can be considered questionable in her background. This is especially true when we can not know what the results would have been if she had made the opposite decision. So, she has baggage. But a great majority of that baggage contains stuff that people like, so she has a high approval rating. The Republicans are working hard on trying to focus attention away from that majority and on to the questionable stuff, since she is currently beating any candidate they can put up. So far, however, Benghazi is there best hope and that’s hopeless.

Back in 2000, Billary’s advisers said to take a Senate seat and wait for eight years, so people would forget all the baggage. Their advice then was just as good as their advice in 2008, when they charged a fortune and had Billary waste her huge war-chest where it bought very few delegates per dollar (as opposed to Obama’s advisers, most of whom worked for free, and who aced the calculus of where each and every dollar bought the most Democratic delegates to the Nominating Convention).

Now Billary’s biggest problem is that they look OLD, and the JFK-Nixon race was decided by who looked better on television (most of those who only had radio said they voted for Nixon).

Had Billary run in 2000, Hillary would have been a shoo-in for the First* Woman President, just as Ma Ferguson was the First* Woman Governor of Texas, but they really wanted a ‘First’ instead of a ‘First*’.

So maybe Chelsea in a few years?

Why is it we seem to be locked into the mindset that the best two possibilities for president are either a Bush or a Clinton? Especially after the performances of the last ones?

“Baggage”? Whitewater was baggage. Voting for the Iraq War is a war crime for which she should be in prison for the rest of her miserable life.

Too bad she didn’t faint instead of voting for war against Iraq.

OMG!! That reminds me of a Simpson’s episode that took place in the future where Lisa and Bart are adults. Marge commented that Fox was a all porn channel and it happened so subtly.

She will count on the media’s protection. They served her husband and have shined during this administration.
    .
The only thing that can hurt Hillary is “Obama fatigue”, and the lagging economy. She is probably waiting and watching to see how much the media protects her and lies on her behalf.

This is a lot of HOOPLA about someone who has not yet declared that she is, or will become, a candidate, especially in view of the fact that she has stated that, as a soon-to-be grandmother, she probably will devote most of her time to the family (Chelsea’s). I’m of the opinion that she will choose NOT to run.

Wasn’t voting against the war at that time tantamount to implicit treason? It was still stupid, but we all got the wool pulled over our eyes via the U.N. inspection results and Howdy Doody’s intelligence reports. Still won’t know how much Colin Powell was snowed vs. how much he knew, but is it really fair to put people on trial for making decisions on bad evidence? I’d be more likely to start with big players in the Bush administration.
All that being said, I still don’t trust Hillary as far as I can throw her.

Sorry Tigs. She’s prepping to run. This is her last chance at the brass ring and she’s letting the media do the campaigning for her. God help us all.

As a senator, Clinton had the power to find out what was true and act on it. Regardless, it was pretty obvious that the war party was pushing a pack of ies. Half a million people got out on the streets of New York City to protest the oncoming war. She chose to go along with it. That is not going to be overlooked.

Ted Rall: Exactly. And what does it say about American voters that an overwhelming majority of politicians, based on their votes, are war criminals? If not in the high visibility votes, then in continually voting for war funding.
