But a lot of the electronics come from Israel, they’re as big on defense industry as we are.

I wonder why? When you are surrounded by countries that refuse to recognise that you exist, or even the right to exist. and want all of your people dead – where are you going to invest?

Remember Israel invests in weapons to protect its people, Hamas invests its people to protect the weapons.

Hey, what’s the point of BUILDING weapons, if you can’t use them? Or at least sell them to someone who will?

Michael wme’s posts are a study on sarcasm. He vary rarely breaks character. He usually includes clickable links that give clues to that, though it seems he saw fit to leave ’em out this time.

The peace agreement has apparently already been broked.

We’re back to “a good guy with a gun” being the only answer to “a bad guy with a gun”.

Let’s flashback to the “surge” in Iraq. That was another example of the idea that more guns will help create peace. It was reported, at the BEGINNING of the surge, that the US had provided over 90,000 weapons that could not be accounted for. But it was no big deal: time to arm the “good guys”. And let’s look at how peaceful Iraq has become as a result.

    When will they ever learn?

Let us have the UN remove half the area in – insert random state – and you will see how “happy” the people there will be afterwards. Plus them expanding their area with settlements – they have been told to remove. Hamas aren´t angels, but Israel is in no way free of sin.

Remember when the CIA was arming and training “those brave mujahideen”? Took a little while to come back and bite us in the rump, but when it did, it bit hard.
    .
Let’s not learn from the past, though. We don’t need to learn; we’re ’MURICA!

I don’t read to much into his posts, but the links he often provides are usually worthwhile reading.

    meh

I guess he’s like marmite.: Love it or hate it.

You’re the 2nd I note, apart from those he satirises directly, who hate it. Probably because you were taken in by his satire on more than one occasion and feel the…
Anyway, the love it camp is larger.
As Jase & NightGaunt point out: his links are the real gold.

For anyone who thought Katushya rockets were made overseas, perhaps … oh, I don’t know where, but they’re made right here in America. Ted’s point is, the US is arming everyone. We’re the only bad people in the world.

I want to thank everyone for their input. The decision, however, is mine which posts I read and which I think are a waste of my time. I don’t believe I said everyone (or anyone) has to agree, but I stand by my opinion as expressed above.
