And apparently the companies that wanted to hire her only wanted to do so for her celebrity.

Her life hasn’t turned out all that grim and Dickensian.

Of course, some think she got a really terrible deal.

I would hire an equally qualified anyone else. I don’t believe Monica did anything seriously wrong—well Bill was married and she knew it, but she didn’t hurt anyone but Bill’s family and that wasn’t her intention. The big mistake was to tell Linda Tripp about it. And, she was 22 years old at the time. I sure did dumber stuff than that when I was in my 20s, and I don’t think there are many people that didn’t. I wouldn’t hire her because it would detract from whatever my business was. I want to be referred to as the law firm that specializes in labor law, or whatever. And that’s without the answer being “oh, you mean that company that hired Monica Lewinsky, and you trust them?”

Most of those with degrees who can’t find a job should have gone to trade school. There are a lot of jobs that pay over $100,000 a year with out a degree.Machinist is one even truck driving .But passing a drug test is required and showing up for work every day ready to work.
Machine shops were I live can’t hire trainees much less anyone that can operate a lathe or a mill.
Most kids would rather work at some low paying retail sales crap then get dirt on their hands. did I mention drug tests are required?
Thanks dimtards for chasing the good paying jobs right out of the country.

Watch your mouth! It was our solicitous govt that paid our good jobs to relocate to cheaper climes. Been doing it since the magic 1980’s. They made a profit off of it, why not you? Both parties so who is the real “dimtard” here? All of us.

So she had an affair with a married man? Big deal? It happens all the time, especially in politics. Her problem was her affair was with a power man with powerful enemies who had no issue with destroying her life for political gain, one of whom was busy with his own extra-marital affair.

Did we ever learn the meaning of “is”? I know perjury is no big deal because everyone does it.

Who cares doing it undermines the whole basis of our adversarial justice system?

You miss the point. The massive scandal revolving around it was 100% politically motivated.

Part of the scandal was at least two certain felonies.

I know I can never forgive her. She set out to get “presidential kneepads” and succeeded. If she hadn’t, and he hadn’t been such a weak and blind man, we’d probably never had to put up with bush costing us so much blood and treasure and destroying our economy and our national will. So, thanks for pushing us down the slide to the Third World.
