Good one, Ted. That last line from Vice is a riot.

The backstory: Doctors Disabled Wireless In Cheney’s Pacemaker to Thwart Hackers

Fortunately for old Dick, he had good health insurance. Five heart attacks, multiple surgeries… I wonder what the out of pocket cost was on that.

DC can only be killed by driving a wooden stake thru his heart, cut his head off, stuff the mouth with garlic, burn the remains to ashes and scatter them on moving water, such as a stream or river. That is how the undead are killed.

Cheney reminds me of the character Peredonov in THE PETTY DEMON, by Fedor Sologub — evil in a banal and sullen way. Intelligent in a dark and empty way.

    One of your best, Ted!

I’m really conflicted in my feelings about The(his real first name) Dick Cheney. One one hand, I want him to live long enough to travel to the Hague. At the same time, I hope to live long enough to pi$$ on his grave. (Even though I hate standing in long lines.)

Wow! Almost every other cartoon today was either the ACA computer problems or the Tea Party shutdown hurting the Republicans. Mr Rall actually has a clever, unique cartoon.

It’s easy to see why decent newspapers like the New York Times banned him.

I’d bet dinner with the Cheneys would be far more entertaining than dinner with the Obamas….

Not to defend Mr. Cheney in any way, you do know that between 30 and 50% of all persons drafted in previous US military drafts were rejected for service on a variety of reasons.

^^ Well, Cheney doesn’t need defending just because he’s a ChickenHawk.

I hope Cheney lives until his flesh hangs off him like a Shar pei dog. A bonus would be living near Jeb Bush who can keep him on life support like Terri Shiavo for another 50 years or so.

“…defend homosexuality which VP Cheney does, too!” If I remember correctly, The Dick did not do so until his daughter came out. Typical tightie rightie hypocrite. Take a hard line position on an issue until it affects you personally.

A boatload of hatred for our former Veep , all coming from people who advocate a better more loving world . Now you know why we call you libs hypocrites so much of the time – because you are! Anyone can hate their enemies , only an enlightened one can forgive them!

I have thought about your point carefully. It is not that I hate Cheney nor is he my enemy. However, I find it, at this point, impossible to forgive him for what he did to us all. Think about it. GW Bush trusted him enough to agree with him that he should be tje VP. I feel it likely that Bush felt his experience would be helpful, but I think by the end of Bush’s first term he was already somewhat disillusioned with Cheney and what Cheney had done to his administration, but did not know how to dump him. Rumsfeld, Cheney’s big buddy, he did dump which was a good thing for all of us. So don’t expect that we will have any good to say about him. I am also fairly sure he doesn’t give a damn about what any of us inferior serfs think about him. So what should I forgive him for? Getting the country in a mess economically and militarily? What about that conservative virtue of taking responsibility for one’s own actions? He has said that he regrets nothing which says to me that he takes no responsibility for his actions. Sorry. I will not forgive until I see some contrition from him.
