I wonder if we would be so sanguine if this were really the case…oh, right it was. Just ask the Native Americans.

    I can’t see the point.

Hamas does NOT have the backing of a nation with a military and nuclear force greater than the rest of the world’s militaries combined, a nation with a completely mad leadership.

If it did, then maybe someone might care. But it doesn’t.

So this cartoon might as well be asking, ‘What if there was a hamburger orchard on Jupiter?’

“Palestine” is not a nation nor is “Palestinian” a distinctive ethnic or cultural group. There already is an Arab country in Palestine, it’s called “Jordan”. Why worry about creating a new one? Arafat had several chances to have a separate state and refused so why the hell should we worry about it?

MMM, who started a war, got the butt kicked, lost a lot of land in the war they started and is still many years later trying to claim they “won” the war and that the land is theirs. And tell me this which side provides some worth to the world while the other side just tries to take in the name of their religion.

This cartoon portrays an effective turn-about. Years and years ago, Oliphant made a cartoon when the troubles in Northern Ireland were much in the news. A British military commander was pictured in his Belfast station, and as I recall, the caption said something like, “The Americans have the Viet Cong, the Israelis have the Palestinians – but we have to get stuck with the Irish.” The names change, but the situations continue.

    Talking points.
By the same standard, there is no distinctive “American” ethnic group. Also: there already is England. Why create a new Anglo-Saxon state here?

I don’t know duh, maybe the one that Obama does not use? The one the 6 day war is in. The one where the Muslims do not try to rewrite them self as victims. Basically the anti liberal version.

You open your mouth and it’s a fountain of ignorance."
Interesting that I have backed mine up with fact and your post is nothing but an insult..typical liberal.
Funny thing is you are insulted yet I did not have to label. You knew I was talking about how Israel bring value and peace, tolerance to the table and the other only brings their religious ideology of peace through surrender of the opposition.

Israel isn’t a nation, the USA isn’t a nation. That is a dead end that opens up many cans of worms. Don’t go there.

The last chance Arafat he saw that what he was being offered was a trap with no real autonomy so of course he said “no.”

The Palestinians did not start a way. They left as all people do when war comes to them. The Israelis were mostly from Europe where if you leave you lose. Different from the Middle East where you can come back to live.

You need to follow your own advice and give us information, not just telling so-in-so they are “wrong.” Show us where.

Likely they don’t know what happened and can’t formulate an opinion to tell you.
