If they implant the USB plugs directly into infants’ skulls, will they come loose as they get bigger? Can Monsanto fix that for us?

My thoughts are my own, even if you know what they are, you can’t stop them.

Here’s hoping Mr. Snowden makes it to a country that will grant him asylum. What courage, to take on the national security state. Mr. Greenwald and Mr. Snowden are true heroes combating the rise of American fascism. When BamBam says we have nothing to worry about, he’s lying.

I was at a faculty meeting in ‘99 and, in addition to gushing over the fact that, with the Internet, demand was infinite, they also said that there were top secret mind-reading devices the government had developed.

(Since the faculty members didn’t even know the meaning of the word ‘infinite’, I dismissed as utter poppycock their other assertions. But maybe I was wrong.)

Tech nerd? I thought that was a likeness of Rall.

Actually, that IS Rall in the cartoon. He’s moonlighting as a NSA agent, with the alias Snowdon, to make ends meet. Cartooning doesn’t pay much.

Snowden left the country. There is no certainty that he would be arrested in this country at the moment, its only his say so.
I doubt he would be treated as badly as Manning because Snowden was not in the military.

They can’t stop his thoughts, just his body.
    Daniel Ellsburg is still around.

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part. You can’t even passively take part! And you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop! And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it — that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!

David Letterman said that Snowden couldn’t stand to live in a country where everyone was spied on, so he went to China.
(I know Hong Kong has a special government since about 1997)
