C’mon, no sense blaming Bush. There are no lasting consequences for his ‘decisions’. I mean, those 4000+ American soldiers that died in Iraq, it’s not like they’re still dead or anything.

You forgot the most horrible scandal of the lot: the umbrella.

In the case of impeaching Obama for Benghazi, the IRS, and the AP, many Republicans favour it and many Democrats oppose it, so reasonable, well-informed people have a difference of opinion, and a reasonable, well-informed person could choose to believe either side.

In the case of the Iraq War, the overwhelming majority of our elected representatives voted in favour. They had access to classified information that can never be released, but we must understand they have information we do not, and they only act in the very best interest of the United States. When both sides agree, anyone who does NOT agree is not a patriot, but is questioning the very foundations on which America rests.

And those best interests are clearly putting as much money as possible into the pockets of those elected representatives and their Friends.

Besides, even if the inspectors found nothing after the US liberated Iraq from such plagues as HAVING reliable electricity and clean, safe drinking water, reliable witnesses saw Saddam with a kitten, and if that’s not a Weapon of Mouse Destruction (WMD), I don’t know what is.

    The Difference between Democrats and Republicans;
    Republicans are psychotic whackos.
    Democrats are laid back whackos.
    THAT’S why I’m an Independent!

But when Cheney tried to start a war with Iran by sending Navy Seals in Iranian clothes on boats made to look like Iranian navy boats to attack our boats, no one said a word.

The rightside frame is why Hillary will never get my vote. All the informed readers of democraticunderground.org knew Iraq was being invaded for invalid reasons and with false intelligence.

Anyone who voted for the Iraq War Resolution cast their vote from lack of political courage, not from lack of good WMD intel.

Like John Kerry, they actually thought the huge mistake would become apparent before the 2004 election.

All of these “scandals” do not reflect well on Obama’s leadership, but I certainly haven’t seen anything meeting the “crimes and misdemeanors” threshold.

No reasonable, well-informed person could possibly want to impeach Obama for Benghazi (which isn’t a scandal), or the IRS (which doesn’t involve Obama) or the AP (ditto). The difference here is who is “reasonable.” The GOP would have more of a case if (a) they could present any evidence and (b) if every single president they’ve put up since Ford hadn’t had far, far worse scandals where the president was actually involved in the planning, execution, and cover-up of actual illegal activity.

What? You cannot handle being blamed for the truth?

Because that never happened, except in your LSD dreams.

They can present the evidence after Obama destroys it.

Ain’t this the truth! Voters: don’t forget the DEMOCRATS who betrayed you and handed off their sacred responsibility to be in charge of declaring war to the Bush Administration.

I guess we’ve forgotten who is next in line, if Obama is impeached and convicted.

The reason for the invasion of Iraq was not the possibility of WMDs, but the violation of the 1991 ceasefire agreement. To be more precise:(1) violation of embargo provisions, (2) noncooperation with inspectors, (3) firing surface to air missiles at US and UK aircraft. Add to this the attempted murder of former Prez Bush and you have four good reasons for war. The WMDs were just PR and propaganda. The legal and formal justification for invasion was always the violations, not the WMDs. Look it up.
